Veterinary Surgeon

Lucy graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2014. After completing a years internship at the Equine Referal Hospital and working for 6 months in ambulatory equine practice she decided to make the switch to treat smaller animals. She has spent the last 6 years working in a few practices around Surrey and joined the team at Oak Barn in December this year. 

Lucy has a keen interest in internal medicine, particularly in relation to the care of geriatric patients and earlier this year started a post graduate certificate in Internal Medicine. She is also a certified OV which means she can complete all the necessary paperwork to get your pets ready for their summer travels! Lucy has a baby tortoise called Stanley (who is almost certainly a girl but, only weighing in at 8g when he hatched was too small to tell!) and is a keen runner, she has completed several marathons and regularly competes for a local running club
