Here at the Barn we don't seem to learn, and like nothing better than getting wet and muddy for a good cause!
This year we are supporting Battersea Dogs' and Cats' Home and have entered their Muddy Dog Challenge to help raise funds.
Battersea first opened its doors in 1860 and now cares for 7000 dogs and cats a year at it's three sites in Battersea, Windsor and Brands Hatch. Their vision is that every dog and cat should live in a home where they are treated with love, care and respect.
As you can imagine this level of care requires lots dedication and much needed funds. This year we have entered a team into their Muddy Dog Challenge to help raise as much as possible!
We will be battling through a muddy obstacle course with our dogs on May 12th! By taking part, we’ll be helping Battersea provide love and care for the thousands of lost, abandoned and unwanted dogs and cats that come into their care every year!
Whilst we are preparing for a day of mud, sweat, and cheers on their dog-friendly obstacle course, if you would like to help us raise funds then please visit our Just Giving Page where every penny raised will go towards dogs and cats that need help!
Our last moment of madness raised over £7,712.34 (!) when we did the Coniston Challenge for the Guide Dogs all thanks to your generous donations (and a few moments of sweat and tears this end!) so a massive thank you in advance from all of us here!
We are already off to a great start raising £125.40 at our recent First Aid Evening! Wish us luck!
