Today the Government has released a helpful leaflet on how to protect your poultry. Have a look here or download a copy from the bottom of the page in the attachments section.
Sadly there have been several confirmed cases of Avian Flu (none in Surrey yet) and because of this the government have sensibly extended their enforcement notice that all poultry must be housed to prevent access to wild birds and potential spread.

Scrumpy is a 13 year old fox terrier who was showing no real signs of slowing down, despite her age. That is until she recently developed a cough and shortness of breath.

As yet there have been no reported cases in the UK but we are on red alert with special measures being introduced by the Government to try and protect an outbreak. Shera is typical of her breed. A one year old female Bengal cat she has both good looks and athleticism. Unfortunately though her active lifestyle did lead her into trouble!
