Time has been going by so fast recently; we cannot believe that Christmas is already upon us! During this busy time here are a few tips to help keep your pets safe and sound over the festive period.
Last year you may remember we had a drawing competition and we had such a fantastic number of entries so we thought we would hold it again! Many of you will have seen last years winners proudly displayed at the Barn.
Every now and then we get to meet a “one in a million” patient and Fleur is surely one of them. (Be warned there are some pictures of doggy genitalia below!).
So what can we say about Stan? He is a Bengal by breed but as soft as a marshmallow by nature. He has a sweet tooth and has been known to snaffle the odd slice of cake when his owners are not watching.
With the now dark mornings and a chill in the air all of us would much rather stay in bed but it's time to think of your tortoises who are sensibly getting ready for a long sleep!

What a nice surprise on a wet Monday morning! We recieved a certificate in the post today and are thrilled to let you all know that we have achieved the highest status awarded for Veterinary cat care!
Jed is a bouncy, mischievous black Labrador who was rescued by his owners back in 2011 - read his story and see how a nasty tummy upset nearly gave him a heart attack!
Jed is normally full of life and a typically greedy labrador who will eat anything. However prone to the odd tummy upset his owners realised something was very wrong when they woke up and found Jed producing lots of vomit and diarrhoea with large amounts of blood coming from both ends. He was also feeling quite sorry for himself and had completely lost his appetite which was very unusual! They sensibly rushed him straight down to the practice.
Some pets manage to go their whole life without having any real health problems and some seem to attract them. Lulu is one of the latter!
